What to Expect
The EMEA Residential Energy team is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager to shape Tesla’s European VPP and V2X commercial strategy and build new offers across the Tesla Energy ecosystem. You will own high-impact partnerships, design financing and product bundles that make Energy solutions more accessible, and work across product, policy, sales, and HQ in a fast-moving environment — helping accelerate the transition to sustainable energy.
What You'll Do
- Build partnerships with retail electricity providers and other partners that create value for Tesla Energy and vehicle customers

Prioritize European markets, develop business cases and offer structures, and support launch of VPP offers in new markets

Identify and develop additional VPP value (e.g. demand response, DSO/TSO contracts) and lead new programs where relevant

Partner with product, marketing, policy, and sales (HQ and local) on GTM and overall European strategy

Design financing solutions and ecosystem bundles that improve affordability and drive growth

Assess emerging opportunities, run cross-functional evaluation, and align leadership on critical decisions
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years in the electricity industry with strong knowledge of European residential/small-commercial solar, storage, and charging

Commercial and contracting expertise; proven partnership development

Ability to lead multi-stakeholder initiatives and turn broad problems into clear frameworks for executive decisions

Excellent communication skills at executive level; strong financial modeling and Excel/PowerPoint

Experience with energy storage, EV charging, V2X, and/or retail & VPP market operations preferred

English fluency; Dutch or German a plus
