Summary
The Logistics Operations & Customer Service (Junior) Specialist is responsible for coordinating end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring efficient order processing, transportation coordination, inventory control, customer communication, documentation management, and billing support. The role serves as the primary operational contact between external and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence and operational efficiency.
Job responsibility
- Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
- Coordinate warehouse operations, inventory movements, and shipment preparation.
- Arrange and monitor domestic and international transportation, including FTL and specialized shipments.
- Maintain transport documentation, customs-related records, and compliance requirements.
- Provide customer support by handling inquiries, returns, delivery issues, and operational exceptions.
- Liaise with carriers and vendors to manage bookings, capacity, and service performance.
- Support transport billing, freight cost control, invoice verification, and reconciliations.
- Prepare operational reports, KPI dashboards, and customer performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements, operational projects, and team knowledge sharing.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, or customer service.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS, EDI systems, and strong Excel skills preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
