We are fast growing sewing school in the Netherlands with the most amazing students who create beautiful outfits. We have had a location in Rotterdam for 5 years and now we open new location in Amsterdam.
Role Description
The job is great, if you like to communicate with people, you will be always in the center of attention! The language of instruction is English. You don't need to come up with anything, we already have existing courses and will explain you everything. The location is in Amsterdam, this work is fully on site. It's important that you live in Amsterdam.
You can start with 8 hours a week and expand to 24-30 hours. We can agree on how many hours you work. The work schedule is on weekdays in the evenings from 18:00 till 22:00 and on weekends from 10:00. The days are negotiable.
Qualifications
- Education in sewing
- Experience working in a studio or working independently in individual tailoring at least for 3 years
- Conversational English, knowledge of sewing terminology in English
- Knowledge in pattern making
- Passion for teaching and working with students
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Patience, ability to resolve conflicts
- Previous teaching experience is a plus (but not necessary)
