Job Title: Experienced Neapolitan Pizza Chef

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Neapolitan Pizza Chef (Pizzaiolo) who is passionate about authentic pizza, skilled in dough preparation and oven management, and capable of maintaining high standards of quality and consistency during service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage Neapolitan-style dough Ruota di Carro (mixing, fermentation, balling, and proofing)
- Stretch dough by hand according to traditional Neapolitan techniques
- Operate and manage a wood-fired or gas Neapolitan oven (high-temperature baking)
- Prepare pizzas during service with speed, precision, and consistency
- Ensure correct use and storage of high-quality ingredients (DOP products where applicable)
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP regulations
- Work efficiently during busy services and collaborate with the kitchen team
- Monitor stock levels and assist with prep planning
- Uphold the pizzeria’s standards for taste, presentation, and authenticity
- Organise and supervise staff shifts
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Neapolitan pizza chef
- Proven experience with high-hydration doughs and long fermentation
- Strong knowledge of traditional Neapolitan pizza standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
- Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- EU work eligibility (or valid work permit for the Netherlands)
Nice to Have
- Training or certification from a recognized pizza school (e.g. AVPN or equivalent)
- Experience working in high-end or authentic Italian pizzerias
- Basic English communication skills (Dutch or Italian is a plus)
