PR Manager, Geely Auto Europe (Pan-European Media Relations)
Position Overview
As Geely continues to expand its presence across Europe, we are looking for a PR Manager to lead media relations and support corporate and product communications across the region.
Based in Amsterdam, this role will focus on building and maintaining relationships with European media, supporting executive communications, product launches, and brand reputation initiatives. The PR Manager will work closely with local markets, agencies, and internal teams to deliver communications programs that enhance Geely Auto's visibility and reputation in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute Pan-European media relations strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with automotive, business, technology, sustainability, and mainstream media across Europe.
Manage media inquiries, interviews, press briefings, and executive media engagements.
Lead media events, support vehicle launches and corporate announcements.
Develop press releases, speeches, key messages, and Q&A documents with the team.
Coordinate communications activities across multiple European markets.
Manage PR agencies and external communications partners.
Support executive communications and corporate reputation initiatives.
Support issues management and crisis communications planning.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations.
Proven experience managing media relations across multiple European markets.
Strong network of European media contacts.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Experience developing executive messaging and communications strategies.
Strong project management skills.
Experience in a multinational environment; automotive industry experience preferred.
Full professional proficiency in English. Additional European language skills are an advantage.
