As a Contract Manager at TMC, you work on complex civil and infrastructure projects within the spatial domain, such as infrastructure, energy transition, mobility, water safety, and area development. These are projects where contracts play a decisive role in managing risks, costs, planning, and quality.
You are responsible for contract management during one or more project phases: from procurement and contract formation to execution and completion. You advise clients and project teams on contract strategy, contract types (such as UAV, UAV-GC, collaborative teams, and framework agreements), and their practical application.
Within projects, you act as a connecting link between the client, project management, engineering, procurement, and execution. You ensure contract agreements are clear, monitor compliance, and promptly identify deviations, claims, and opportunities. In doing so, you promote professional client management and constructive collaboration between parties.
The assignments vary in size and complexity and take place at organizations such as (local) governments, water boards, contractors, grid operators, and engineering and consultancy firms. Regardless of the assignment, your role remains the same: ensuring that contracts are not an end in themselves but an effective management tool within the project.
