Purpose of the Role
To lead and optimize housekeeping operations across multiple properties, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and service standards while creating comfortable and memorable experiences for our guests.
Job Description
- Lead, train, motivate, and support housekeeping teams across multiple properties.
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public areas meet brand standards.
- Conduct room inspections and quality checks to maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation.
- Create schedules and manage staffing levels to support operational needs.
- Monitor and manage housekeeping inventory, linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
- Manage departmental budgets and labor costs, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining service standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control operational expenses.
- Coordinate maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and service standards.
- Work closely with Front Office, Maintenance, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of housekeeping staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or management role, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Fluent in Papiamentu, English and Dutch.
- Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and adapt to changing business needs.
