Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Central, the Inventory Manager is responsible for the availability of inventory to support the Central sales plan, ensuring that inventory levels are optimised across clusters. They are responsible for identifying issues such as excess or low stock and driving through the decision making to resolve it, and supporting all decisions with the appropriate information and reporting.
This role is a 6-month contract to cover for maternity leave.

Ensure communication with cluster and Category Planners for priorities for stock as well as NPD and excess stock.

Ensuring that inbound containers are prioritised against stock and sales plans

Monitoring of receipt plans, providing regular update on inventory levels and flagging in case of short term stock issues are foreseen with the region and clusters

Defining the cluster /market allocation and ensuring that stock receipt plans reflect this

Defining the safety stock policy and values for the region with the support of Category planners

Producing weekly stock projection at cluster/market level including inbounds, forecast and actuals to be distributed across the region.

Producing out of stock reports and other stock reports and distributing to all relevant parties

Own and managed the opportunity and rebalance process at regional level across clusters and markets.

Approved or decline opportunities at regional level.

Making decisions about the location of stock between markets/clusters and moving stock to optimise inventory

Ensuring product availability on relevant storage locations in line with forecast, order book, and/or allocation

Managing the execution of Excess/EOL stock

Being the connection between SC Central function and Clusters functions for all queries and reporting requirements
