What we ask
Je hebt een mbo 4- of hbo-opleiding afgerond in de richting Procestechnologie, Chemische Technologie, Levensmiddelentechnologie of een aanverwante opleiding.
Heb je een mbo 4-opleiding, dan beschik je over minimaal 5 jaar werkervaring in een voedingsmiddelenproductiebedrijf of een R&D Pilot Plant-omgeving.
Ervaring als pilot plant technician of lab technician binnen de procestechnologie, levensmiddelentechnologie of een R&D-omgeving is een pre.
Affiniteit met en kennis van technologieën zoals membraanfiltratie, drogen en pasteurisatie/UHT is een pre.
Je beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
Je werkt nauwkeurig en kritisch en hebt oog voor detail.
Je kan goed samenwerken in projectteams en gaat planmatig om met deadlines.
Je bent flexibel, proactief en zelfstandig en staat open voor het continu verbeteren van de werkwijze.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden:
Salaris tussen €3500,- en €4000,- bruto per maand (fulltime), afhankelijk van ervaring en geschiktheid voor de rol;
Een werkweek van 36 uur, 5% eindejaarsuitkering, 8% vakantiegeld en een pensioenregeling;
Een treinkaart en/of €0,23 per km (max. 30 km enkele reis);
200 uur verlof per jaar, met de mogelijkheid om tot 40 uur extra te kopen of verkopen;

Vacancy description
In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het voorbereiden, uitvoeren en documenteren van (proces)technologische experimenten op pilotschaal. Je bent van begin tot eind betrokken bij R&D-projecten. Samen met product- en procesontwikkelaars bepaal je welke proeven nodig zijn en hoe deze het beste uitgevoerd kunnen worden. Je bereidt de procesapparatuur voor, bouwt deze indien nodig om of helpt bij het opbouwen van nieuwe apparatuur en opstellingen. Vervolgens voer je de experimenten veilig en reproduceerbaar uit.
Je legt de resultaten vast in het ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook), analyseert de uitkomsten en rapporteert je bevindingen. Op basis hiervan adviseer je collega’s en het projectteam over mogelijke verbeteringen en vervolgproeven. Daarnaast zorg je voor het onderhoud van de procesapparatuur, draag je bij aan de optimalisatie van processen en de aanschaf van nieuwe apparatuur en houd je werkvoorschriften en procedures op het gebied van veiligheid en kwaliteit actueel.
Als Pilot Plant Technician werk je zelfstandig binnen een hecht team. Je werkt nauw samen met collega’s van de laboratoria en met proces- en productontwikkelaars, zowel binnen als buiten de afdeling. Je denkt actief mee over procesverbeteringen en brengt jouw kennis en expertise in binnen projecten.
