As Breakfast Chef, you will focus on delivering high-quality breakfast, buffet, and banqueting experiences while supporting the smooth kitchen operation and help deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests, groups, and events every day.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present breakfast buffets to a consistently high standard
- Support the preparation and production of conference breaks, group lunches, dinners, and banqueting events
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to recipe, quality, and brand standards
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory management to minimise waste
- Ensure kitchen areas remain clean, organised, and fully operational throughout service
- Work closely with colleagues across all kitchen sections to ensure efficient service delivery
- Contribute creative ideas for buffet presentation and guest dining experiences
- Support the onboarding and development of junior kitchen team members
- Deliver a memorable guest experience through exceptional food quality and consistency
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie, or in a similar role within a professional kitchen
- Passion for high-volume food production, buffet service, and large-scale catering operations
- Good knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good command of English and the ability to work effectively within an international team
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands
Preferred Requirements
- Experience within a hotel, conference, or banqueting kitchen environment
- Experience preparing meals for groups, events, and buffet-style service
- Experience working in a multicultural team environment

This position is classified under the Dutch Hospitality Collective Labour Agreement (Horeca CAO, Scale V) with a starting salary from €2,505.04 gross per month based on full-time employment.
