We are now looking for a Senior Scientist to join our Discovery Services team. As a Senior Scientist, you are a critical player in advancing our scientific programs and delivering excellence to clients and partners. You bring not only scientific depth but also a strategic mindset and a passion for turning ideas into tangible outcomes.
Serve as a subject matter expert in your field, preferably stem cell biology incl. process development of complex cell differentiations, upscaling and bioreactor knowledge, mentoring team members and providing technical guidance.
Support the BD team driving new business by interacting with potential Clients, writing high-end proposals, and being able to have in-depth discussions, converting scientific challenges into tangible project proposals.
Lead the design and execution of complex, cutting-edge experiments with scientific rigor.
Oversee project timelines and deliverables in coordination with the PMO, while managing cross-functional collaboration.
Develop and implement new methodologies and technologies to enhance project outcomes.
Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets—connecting the dots to generate insights that matter.
Act as a scientific ambassador for our clients—translating data into decisions and ideas into impact.
Contribute to commercial success by aligning scientific excellence with business goals and market needs.
A Ph.D. in Stem cell biology, Molecular biology, Neuroscience, or a related field, with 3–7 years of relevant industry experience
Experience as a project leader within a CRO or Biotechnology company is required
Scientific expertise in stem cell biology incl. process development of complex cell differentiations, upscaling and bioreactor knowledge is strongly preferred
Strong expertise in experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific communication
Proven ability to lead projects and guide others in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Commercial awareness and a passion for bridging science with business strategy
Excellent communication skills—both with clients and within multidisciplinary teams
