Coffee or matcha? Bij Kukki nemen we allebei serieus.
Voor onze teams in Den Haag en Rotterdam zijn we op zoek naar ervaren barista’s die hun hoofd koel houden achter een drukke bar en ervoor zorgen dat ieder drankje er goed uitziet én goed smaakt.
Van ’s ochtends de espresso afstellen tot matcha whisking en het maken van onze signature drinks — je werkt met onze volledige drankenkaart.
Behind the bar
Je maakt espresso-based drinks, matcha, chai en onze signature drinks. Denk aan klassieke flat whites en iced lattes, maar ook aan strawberry matcha, seasonal specials, verschillende foams en drankjes die typisch Kukki zijn.
Het kan bij ons heel druk worden, dus tempo is belangrijk. Maar nooit ten koste van kwaliteit.
We zoeken iemand die efficiënt kan werken, zijn/haar station netjes houdt en drankje na drankje consistent kan maken — ook wanneer de bestellingen blijven binnenkomen.
Werktijden
Kukki is geopend van 09:00 tot 23:00 en we werken met twee shifts per dag: een ochtend-/middagshift en een middag-/avondshift.
Daarom zoeken we mensen die flexibel inzetbaar zijn binnen onze openingstijden. Kun je vooral overdag of juist in de avond? Geen probleem — vermeld bij je sollicitatie duidelijk welke dagen en shifts je beschikbaar bent.
Jij zou onze nieuwe barista / matcharista kunnen zijn als je
- Ervaring hebt als barista of relevante ervaring binnen specialty coffee
- Weet hoe je espresso afstelt en zelfverzekerd met een espressomachine werkt
- Melk goed en consistent kunt opschuimen
- Goed kunt werken in een omgeving met een hoog tempo
- Oog hebt voor smaak, presentatie en consistentie
- Schoon en georganiseerd werkt
- Betrouwbaar bent en zelfstandig kunt werken
- Enthousiast wordt van zowel koffie als matcha
- Openstaat om de Kukki-manier van matcha en signature drinks maken te leren
Ervaring met matcha is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste. Onze recepten, technieken en standaarden leren we je zelf.

Coffee or matcha? At Kukki, we take both seriously.
For our teams in The Hague and Rotterdam, we’re looking for experienced baristas who can keep up with a busy bar while making sure every drink looks and tastes exactly how it should.
From dialing in espresso in the morning to whisking matcha and building our signature drinks — you’ll be working across our full drinks menu.
Behind the bar
You’ll be preparing espresso-based drinks, matcha, chai and our signature drinks. Think classic flat whites and iced lattes, but also strawberry matcha, seasonal specials, foams and drinks that are very much Kukki.
Our bar can get busy, so speed matters. But never at the expense of quality.
We want someone who knows how to work efficiently, keeps their station clean and can make drink after drink consistently — even when the orders keep coming.
Working hours
Kukki is open from 09:00 until 23:00, and our days are divided into two shifts: a morning/afternoon shift and an afternoon/evening shift.
We’re looking for people who can be flexible within our opening hours. Mainly available during the day or prefer evening shifts? That’s fine — just clearly mention which days and shifts you’re available for when applying.
Evening and weekend availability is a big plus.
You might be our new barista if you
- Have previous barista or relevant specialty coffee experience
- Know how to dial in espresso and work confidently with an espresso machine
- Can texture milk properly and consistently
- Can handle a fast-paced bar
- Care about taste, presentation and consistency
- Work clean and organised
- Are reliable and comfortable working independently
- Are excited to work with both coffee and matcha
- Are willing to learn the Kukki way of making our matcha and signature drinks
Previous matcha experience is a plus, but not required. We’ll teach you our recipes, techniques and standards.
