Arriving at Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam City Center, you first catch up with your colleagues about what is going on in the hotel. Are there any urgent issues that need to be solved right away? You are great at assessing the situation and start by tackling the priorities.
You spend a large part of the day on the floor, focusing on preventive maintenance, periodic inspections, and handling reports of technical issues. For the team, you are the go‑to person when it comes to technical tasks, so you receive the occasional call in between. No two days are ever the same!
The new Eden Hotel Amsterdam has undergone a complete metamorphosis after its renovation. We have a real Tokyo-style hotel bar, a beautiful Food Theatre where you can eat and drink all day long and a self-service concept has been rolled out in the new lobby. The addition of 5 new rooms brings the total to no less than 391 and makes us one of the largest hotels in the center of Amsterdam. A large number of rooms were also refurbished with a Burlesque theme. The history of Eden Hotels and the history of the hotel and its surroundings are brought to the fore in every aspect of the new design.
WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE?
- You have work experience in Technical Services and/or Maintenance, preferably in Electrical Engineering. Experience within the hospitality industry in a Technical Department is an advantage.
- You are proactive and able to work independently.
- You are a true team player and helpful toward both your colleagues and our guest
