The impact you will make as a Junior Consultant
As a Junior Consultant at Akkuro, you play a key role in connecting our customers with our technology. You work within a close-knit, collaborative team that is jointly responsible for a specific component of the Akkuro platform, helping financial institutions improve and modernise their processes.
You join a consultancy team of 16 enthusiastic colleagues who value openness, collaboration, and mutual support. From day one, you contribute to real customer projects, combining functional insight, technical affinity, and strong communication skills. Alongside your team, you help deliver high-quality solutions that make a measurable impact for our clients in the financial sector.

What you will do as a Junior Consultant
In your role as Junior Consultant, you are the bridge between business and IT. You work closely with customers, developers, and other specialists to ensure that requirements are clearly defined, solutions are thoroughly tested, and software is delivered with confidence and quality.
Together with your team, you are responsible for the end result. You actively participate in daily stand-ups, analyse customer needs, and ensure that solutions meet both functional and technical expectations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Translating business requirements into clear and effective IT solutions
- Maintaining active relationships with customers and internal technical specialists
- Advising clients on optimising their business processes
- Developing and executing tests for new and existing software
- Managing the full lifecycle of analysis, testing, and software delivery
- Safeguarding the quality and functionality of the software
- Reviewing product requirements and contributing to test plans
- Defining test cases based on product requirements, customer usage, and integrations
- Proactively proposing solutions for identified issues and improvements
What you bring as a Junior Consultant
You have a strong focus on quality and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You are curious, motivated, and eager to develop yourself at the intersection of finance and IT.
You bring:
- Strong analytical skills: you are able to understand customer needs and translate them into practical solutions (experience is a plus, motivation is key)
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Finance, or a related field
- A proactive and independent working attitude
- Knowledge of or interest in financial processes such as investing, savings, and/or pensions
- Affinity with and interest in IT and software development
- Interest in working with Agile methodologies
