With a team of around 250 colleagues representing 16 languages and cultures, we combine entrepreneurship with collaboration, speed, and innovation. We are growing rapidly, and sustainability plays an increasingly important role in how we operate and make decisions.
To strengthen our ESG ambitions, we are looking for a Sustainability Officer who wants to help turn strategy into measurable impact.
What you will do?
As Sustainability Officer, you will help shape and implement Roveg’s sustainability strategy across the organization and supply chain. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to improve ESG performance, ensure compliance with evolving regulations, and drive practical sustainability initiatives.
Your responsibilities include:
- Translating sustainability goals into concrete projects and actions
- Coordinating ESG reporting and monitoring progress on sustainability targets
- Collecting, analysing, and interpreting ESG data across the business
- Developing and tracking KPIs to support continuous improvement
- Monitoring European sustainability legislation and industry developments
- Supporting internal teams and customers with sustainability-related questions and requirements
- Collaborating with suppliers and partners to improve sustainability standards throughout the supply chain
- Helping the business identify practical opportunities to reduce environmental and social impact
What we are looking for?
You are proactive, analytical, and able to translate complex sustainability topics into practical solutions. You enjoy working in a fast-moving international environment and are comfortable taking ownership of projects.
We are looking for someone with:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, CSR, or compliance
- Experience within food, agriculture, supply chain, or international trade is a plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- The ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
- A hands-on mindset with attention to detail
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Dutch language skills are an advantage
