The Procurement function is on a journey to further strengthen its capabilities, governance, processes, systems, and business impact. This role offers the opportunity to shape and drive category strategies across Facilities while partnering closely with stakeholders across the organization.
This Is What Your Role Looks Like
As Facilities Category Lead, you own, under the leadership of the Head of Procurement, defining and executing category strategies across Facilities spend categories throughout the Basic-Fit footprint. As Basic-Fit manages close to 2,000 clubs across Europe, Facilities is a key spend category.
Working closely with the Facilities Director, the Head of Procurement, and stakeholders across Operations, Finance, and Legal, you e play a key role in supporting operational excellence, business continuity, and value creation.

You will lead end-to-end sourcing activities, manage supplier relationships, conduct commercial negotiations, and drive value through cost optimization, service improvement, risk mitigation, and supplier innovation.
Reporting to the Global Head of Procurement, you will act as the category expert and trusted business partner for Facilities procurement across all Basic-Fit countries.
Category Strategy & Category Management

Develop and implement category strategies for Facilities in collaboration with business stakeholders.

Continuously assess market developments, supplier capabilities, and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.

Identify and deliver value creation opportunities through cost optimization, service improvements, innovation, and risk management.
Strategic Sourcing & Contract Management

Lead end-to-end sourcing projects across Facilities categories.

Develop sourcing strategies and manage RFx processes.

Conduct supplier evaluations and selection processes in partnership with business stakeholders.

Lead commercial negotiations and support contract finalization with Legal and business teams.
Supplier Relationship & Performance Management

Manage supplier relationships in partnership with business stakeholders.

Together with business stakeholders, monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Address supplier performance issues and support corrective action plans where required.
Business Partnering

Build strong relationships with Facilities, Operations, Property and Finance, Legal, and other relevant business stakeholders.

Act as a trusted advisor on category strategy, supplier markets, and sourcing approaches.

Ensure Procurement is involved early in supplier-related decisions and projects.
Who Are You?
You're a seasoned category professional who moves easily between strategy and execution. You're comfortable in an international environment, know how to bring stakeholders along, and keep suppliers sharp.
You also recognize yourself in the following:
8–12 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management, preferably in Facilities, Technical Services, or Property Services.

Salary: A gross salary between €65,000 and €90,000 per year (based on 40 hours), depending on your experience and background.
