As a Night Receptionist at Soho House Amsterdam, you'll play a key role in ensuring a smooth, safe, and welcoming experience for our members and hotel guests during the night. You'll assist with checking members into the House and hotel guests into their rooms, while confidently managing overnight enquiries and situations as they arise.
In this role, you'll handle payments, balance cash at the end of your shift, and act as a calm and professional point of contact in a fast‑paced environment. With your natural hospitality, proactive mindset, and strong organisational skills, you'll help create a reassuring and seamless experience throughout the night.
As part of the Soho House team, your focus will always be on delivering exceptional service—connecting with guests, solving problems efficiently, and making a real impact, even during the quieter hours.
- Previous experience in a customer service or front‑of‑house role
- Comfortable multitasking, answering high‑volume phone lines, and handling enquiries professionally
- Quick learner, or experience with OpenTable, Salesforce, Google Sheets, and/or Opera
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills
- Detail‑oriented, articulate, and able to work calmly under pressure
- Strong communication skills in English
- Flexible availability, including late nights and weekends
