About us
We started on the festival grounds. When Lowlands asked us to create the ultimate sustainable late-night snack, we came up with something special: plant-based kebab made from locally grown celeriac and wheat. What began as a wild festival idea quickly became a favourite among hungry crowds across the Netherlands.
After the success of our restaurant in Utrecht, we’re now opening a new spot: Bar Karma at NDSM in Amsterdam. Expect great food, lively nights, fun events and plenty of memorable adventures.
To make this all happen, we’re looking for an energetic team that loves hospitality, enjoys working together and gets excited about creating unforgettable moments for guests.
Who we are looking for:

Service staff
- Actively participate in high-level service
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to each guest
- Taking responsibility for your guests and service area
- Monitoring service quality, pace and atmosphere
- Guest centric - always
(1 year of hospitality experience required)
Runners
- Support your colleagues with all operational tasks
- Keep the place nice and tidy
- Actively participate in high-level service
- Guest centric - always
(no hospitality experience required - just be your friendly self)
Bar staff
- The bar is your sweet spot - you own it
- You do not fear an order of 5 beers, 4 cocktails, 3 coffees, 4 herbal teas and… well, you get the point
- Keep it clean, keep it organized
- Actively participate in high-level service
- Guest centric - always
(2 years of hospitality experience required)
Shift-leader
- Actively participate in high-level service
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to each guest
- Support your team; help them shine!
- Monitoring and steering service quality, pace and atmosphere
- Thinking about improving guest experience and work processes
- Guest centric - always
(3 years of hospitality experience required)
