Belangrijk vooraf:
- We zoeken vooral iemand voor vrijdag en zaterdag
- Normale shifts draai je vaak zelfstandig in de keuken
- Bij voorkeur zzp, vanaf €20 per uur, afhankelijk van ervaring en zelfstandigheid. contract ook bespreekbaar
Papa Zatarra is een groeiende zaak op Oostenburgereiland. Overdag draaien we koffie, sandwiches en catering. In de avond werken we met mediterrane gerechten, borrel, diner en verschillende events.
We zoeken een kok die zelfstandig kan draaien. Iemand die mise en place, service, overzicht houden, schoon afsluiten en consistent goed eten de keuken uit sturen serieus neemt.
Voor nu sta je tijdens normale shifts vaak alleen in de keuken, maar wel met direct contact met het team van de voorkant. Dat team is hecht, gezellig en betrokken, maar in de keuken moet je zelf kunnen schakelen. Je moet alle stations goed onder de knie hebben en rustig blijven als het druk wordt.
Het werk is afwisselend. De ene dag draai je een normale shift, de andere keer help je met catering of sta je met collega’s in de keuken voor een event. Omdat we een all-day zaak zijn, kunnen shifts halve of hele dagen zijn.
We zijn nog aan het groeien. Dat betekent dat niet alles vastgeroest is en dat er ruimte is om mee te denken. Maar de basis moet gewoon kloppen.
We zoeken iemand die
- Ervaring heeft als zelfstandig werkend kok, chef de partie of vergelijkbaar
- Beschikbaar is op vrijdag en/of zaterdag
- Zelfstandig een keuken kan draaien
- Alle stations goed beheerst
- Schoon, rustig en georganiseerd werkt
- Goed communiceert met de vloer en het management
- Gevoel heeft voor smaak, balans en goed eten

Papa Zatarra is a growing restaurant/bar on Oostenburgereiland. During the day we do coffee, sandwiches and catering. In the evening we work with Mediterranean dishes, drinks, dinner and different events.
We are looking for a chef who can run shifts independently. Someone who takes mise en place, service, keeping overview, closing cleanly and sending out consistently good food seriously.
For now, during regular shifts, you will often be alone in the kitchen, but with direct contact with the front of house team. That team is close, friendly and involved, but in the kitchen you need to be able to switch and handle things yourself. You need to have all stations under control and stay calm when it gets busy.
The work is varied. One day you run a regular shift, another day you help with catering or work alongside other chefs for an event. Because we are an all-day place, shifts can be half days or full days.
We are still growing. That means not everything is set in stone and there is room to think along with us. But the basics need to be right.
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience as an independent chef, chef de partie or similar
- Is available on Friday and/or Saturday
- Can run a kitchen independently
- Has all stations well under control
- Works cleanly, calmly and in an organised way
- Communicates well with the floor and management
- Has a good feeling for flavour, balance and good food
