To support the ground radar detection team and civil engineering staff, we are looking for a ground radar operator / data analyst / surveyor.
Do you have experience with ground radar systems or similar techniques, or would you like to learn about them? Does your heart beat faster for interpretation software, and do you see it as a challenge to use ground radar and GPS systems to solve the most complex underground issues?
As a Ground Radar Operator/Surveyor, you will perform surveying measurements and ground radar detection throughout the Netherlands. You will work independently or as part of a team, analyze the collected data, and translate the results into precise AutoCAD drawings and reports. The balance between fieldwork and office work is 70/30, meaning you will often be on the move.
This is a varied role in an organization where your input matters!
What will you do?
- Conduct ground radar detection to locate cables, pipelines, and other underground infrastructure
- Survey measurements with GPS and TotalStation in both urban and non-urban areas
- Verify, interpret, and analyze generated measurement data
- Create layout files and process raw data in AutoCAD; compile reports
- Work on diverse projects: preparing construction and residential areas, reconstructions, sewer replacements, and traffic engineering
