Position Summary
The Dutch Financial Services office, supporting the Sales organization, the Manufacturing entities and the Holding entities within the Benelux region is looking for a Senior Finance Accountant. In this role you will participate in a wide range of financial internal and external processes, and you will become an internal and external go-to person in the Financial Services team. The fact that you will experience local and international processes from different angles will challenge you to develop yourself and the Parker organization.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Support the Finance manager with the activities related to the preparation of Annual Financial Reports for the Dutch legal entities and liaise with the auditors and consultants
Develop, maintain and continuously improve the consolidation process
Maintain / document proper segregation of duties; ensure that internal procedures and controls are in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley rules
Support the Finance manager with all matters related to taxes including tax reporting, accounting and payments
Perform monthly USGAAP reporting of a group of companies including proper reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Contact person for internal and external parties
Perform Sox Peer to Peer testing
Supporting the integration of acquisitions
Communicating with locations on an international level
Domestic and foreign travel as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications, skills and experience:
Accounting qualification
3 – 5 years of audit company or industrial accounting experience in similar function
Enjoying working in an international team in a global company
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and written/verbal communication skills
Willing to continuously develop
Highly self-motivated, details and goals oriented
Creativity, flexibility and resilience
Ability to get along with people
Personal energy and motivation
Support positive work climate
Fluency in English, additional languages a plus
