About the Role
As a Purchasing & Logistics Employee, you are responsible for the day-to-day execution of operational purchasing- and logistics activities. You ensure that materials are available on time, inventory levels are accurate, goods flows are processed efficiently, and you play a key role in the administrative handling of transactions within the ERP system.
You will work closely with various departments within PHIX, as well as suppliers and logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing

Prepare, place, and follow up on purchase orders for materials, components, and services.

Monitor delivery times, costs, and material availability, and report any deviations.

Review and process order confirmations and supplier data.

Maintain operational contact with suppliers.
Inventory Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
-
Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify shortages.
-
Perform inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
-
Support inventory control activities and process improvement initiatives.
Logistics Operations

Execute goods receipt, storage, internal distribution, and shipment of materials.

Package materials and prepare national and international shipments.

Prepare and process shipping, export, and transportation documentation.

Maintain contact with carriers and logistics partners.

Process incoming goods, inventory transactions, and outgoing shipments in the ERP system.
Administrative Support

Support the processing of web shop orders.

Support the administrative handling of purchasing and logistics processes.

Maintain and update data in the ERP system.

Assist with reporting and process improvement initiatives within purchasing and logistics.
What do you bring?

MBO working and thinking level, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a technical field.

Experience with logistics processes, operational purchasing, and inventory management.

Experience with ERP systems and inventory management.

Knowledge of logistics processes, transportation documentation, and international shipments.

Basic knowledge of import/export regulations, customs processes, and commercial invoices is an advantage.

Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
