In a fast-growing and dynamic organization, we are seeking a Portfolio Resource Planner to help shape and join a soon-to-be-established Project Management Office (PMO). In this role, you will help to develop processes for resource planning and integrated portfolio planning across a diverse set of small satellite projects.
You will work closely with the PMO Manager, Project Managers, Team Leaders, and key stakeholders to align project schedules, manage cross-project dependencies, and ensure that resource allocation supports overall portfolio priorities. Your work will directly contribute to improved planning accuracy, delivery performance, and strategic alignment across the organization.
As a key member of the PMO team, you will play an important role in enhancing portfolio visibility, improving planning processes, and enabling better decision-making through data-driven insights.
Your main responsibilities:

Play a key role in establishing and setting up the Project Management Office (PMO), including defining structures, processes, and ways of working.

Own and drive integrated portfolio planning, aligning schedules, milestones, and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects.

Coordinate and optimize resource planning across the portfolio, ensuring effective allocation in line with project priorities.

Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, risks, and planning conflicts.

Play a key role in the implementation and adoption of a new project portfolio and resource management tool.

Provide reporting and scenario analyses on portfolio timelines, milestone planning, and resource capacity.

Increase visibility and control across the project portfolio through structured and reliable planning data.

Support the PMO in defining and documenting project management processes, standards, and templates.

You have a BSc or equivalent degree, preferably in industrial engineering, engineering management, operations project management, or a related field.

You have 3+ years of demonstrated experience in resource or portfolio planning, project control, or a closely related field.

Experience with resource and portfolio management tools is a plus (e.g. MS Project, Planview, Planisware, Celoxis, EpicFlow, or similar)

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with data, forecasts, and translate these into actionable insights.
