Our Service Deepsea department is comprised of dedicated professionals, including Service Sales Engineers, Service Coordinators, Service Engineers and Business Development Managers. Together, this diverse team of talented individuals is committed to ensuring seamless coordination and efficient operations across all aspects of our Service Deepsea department.
As a Service Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our Service Deepsea Department, dedicated to maintaining the flawless operation of maritime communication and navigation systems. Your responsibilities will encompass executing service tasks aboard vessels, meticulously maintaining equipment, and unwaveringly upholding our standards of excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Study the job scope and make necessary preparations
- Execute jobs as assigned by the Service Coordinator/Scheduler in a timely manner
- Prepare the service report for each service job as per Radio Holland standards
- Adhere to policies, regulations, and standards relating to QHSE principles of Radio Holland and its customers including those at transient job sites
- Maintain tools and machinery, used for the execution of jobs, in a safe and proper manner
- Ensure familiarization with technical bulletins, service/installation manuals and important technical information
- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Flexibility to travel and work in maritime environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on and field experience or equivalent in maritime industry
