We are an Indian kitchen in the vibrant Downtown Gourmet Market, Eindhoven, serving authentic Indian cuisine to a diverse and dynamic clientele. We seek a skilled and passionate Zelfstandig Werkend Kok to join our team and contribute to our culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage kitchen operations independently, including inventory, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain consistency in food quality and service.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Innovate and contribute to menu development with authentic Indian flavours.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree (MBO Level 3) in Hotel Management, Catering Management, or equivalent is mandatory. Applications without this qualification will not be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in an Indian kitchen is mandatory.
- Expertise in authentic Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
