Long-term Project | Banking Client (Netherlands)
You’ll play a key role in delivering a structured reporting framework by:
- Developing a comprehensive Collateral & Loan-to-Value (LTV) report.
- Defining reporting metrics and monitoring requirements.
- Establishing data quality requirements and validation checks.
- Documenting business definitions and reporting standards.
- Ensuring reporting complies with BCBS239 governance principles.
- Collaborating with multiple grids and stakeholders to improve data quality for quarterly management reporting.
As a Business Data Analyst, you are responsible for translating business reporting requirements into structured, repeatable reporting solutions while ensuring data quality and governance standards are met.
- Build and improve Power BI reporting solutions.
- Analyse and validate data using Databricks.
- Define reporting metrics and monitoring requirements.
- Write functional documentation and business definitions.
- Define and document data quality requirements and validation checks.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure reporting readiness.
- Manage stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Support governance activities related to BCBS239 reporting.
You are an analytical professional who enjoys working at the intersection of business and data. You communicate effectively with stakeholders and have experience translating reporting needs into practical solutions.
- Strong experience with Power BI (PL-300 certification is advantageous but not essential).
- Hands-on experience using Databricks.
- Experience as a Business Data Analyst or Data Analyst.
- Experience writing business and reporting requirements.
- Experience documenting processes and data definitions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project planning and coordination.
- Experience within banking, mortgages or lending environments.
- Strong understanding of Loan-to-Value (LTV).
- Knowledge of collateral reporting.
- Experience working with regulatory reporting or data governance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with BCBS239 principles is a strong advantage.
