About the Position
NUNNER is looking for a motivated and flexible Driver Desk Employee to support logistics and warehouse operations in Moerdijk. In this role, you will be responsible for communication with drivers, carriers, and clients while supporting warehouse activities when needed.
This is a dynamic position for candidates who enjoy logistics, communication, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Managing the driver’s desk and coordinating incoming/outgoing drivers
- Communicating with carriers and clients by phone and e-mail
- Supporting warehouse operations when required
- Performing quality control (QC) checks
- Checking orders and supporting inventory counting
- Operating reachtruck or heftruck when possible
- Assisting with general warehouse tasks during quieter periods
- Supporting operational efficiency and workflow
Requirements
- Valid heftruck certificate (all countries accepted)
- Good command of English language (spoken and written)
- Ability to communicate professionally by e-mail and phone
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Logistics experience is required
- Flexible attitude and willingness to work overtime or weekends when needed
- Stress resistant and able to work under pressure
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Experience in a similar role is a plus, but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn and participate in warehouse training activities
What We Offer
- Competitive salary of €15.10 per hour
- Working hours: 09:00 – 17:00
- Overtime paid at 130%
- Saturday shifts paid at 150%
- Sunday shifts paid at 200%
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities
- Dutch health insurance available (€38.02 per week)
- Transport costs covered or free transport arranged
- Accommodation available if needed (maximum €147 per week)
- Possibility to receive Dutch healthcare allowance (“Zorgtoeslag”) every 3 months
