Network & Security Engineer – Cloud Migration
We are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer to play a key role in a high-impact migration project, transitioning our on-premise infrastructure to the cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructure and security solutions, with a strong focus on firewall management and cloud connectivity.
- Lead the migration of networks and firewalls to a cloud environment (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Configure and manage firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar).
- Optimize network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and VPNs.
- Automate network processes where possible (e.g., using Ansible or Terraform).
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure a secure and compliant cloud environment.
Troubleshoot complex network and security-related issues.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO level) in IT or a related field.
- Certifications or proven experience with one or more of the following: Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco, Infoblox, F5 GTM and LTM.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages: Ruby, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Strong analytical and communication skills with a proactive approach.

- A contract till the end of the year with the possibility of extension.
- A 36 hour working week with flexible hours and a hybrid working model (office (Netherlands and Poland) and home-based).
- A pivotal role in a large-scale cloud migration project.
- Salary range: € 4.950,00 - € 6.300,00 (based on 36 hours per week, based on experience).
