What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Senior Program Manager to join our Finance Transformation team. This high visibility role is critical in driving the financial infrastructure for new market entries and leading business process transformation across our global Finance organization. You will not just manage projects; you will architect the operational backbone that allows Tesla to scale into new territories for all our product lines and optimize existing business lines.
What You'll Do-
New Market Expansion: Lead end to end finance enablement projects for new market entries, ensuring seamless integration of local requirements with global operations

Process Transformation: Drive automation and system enhancement initiatives for Finance Operations, Accounting, and Tax (O2C, P2P). Lead the rollout of electronic invoicing solutions to meet complex government mandates and regulatory requirements across various regions

Strategic Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to map current business processes, leveraging data insights to identify high-impact improvement areas

Execution & Risk Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing and closure. Proactively identifying risks and "zooming out" to solve overarching structural issues

Global Stakeholder Leadership: Orchestrate alignment across a diverse range of stakeholders spanning multiple geographies and time zones. Synthesize complex operational realities into clear, data-backed recommendations and presentations for executive leadership to drive decision-making

Project Implementation: Track and oversee requirements, development, and testing progress, ensuring timely closure and successful implementation
What You'll Bring-
Experience managing cross-functional projects in a global organization. Experience within Tech, Consulting, Automotive or Finance sectors is a strong plus

Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of tax regulations, accounting principles, consumer law, invoicing regulations, E-invoicing regulations and core financial flows (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay)

First-Principles Thinking: Ability to grasp complex concepts quickly, challenge the status quo, and function independently in an ambiguous environment

Project Management: Proficiency with PM methodologies and tools (MS Project, Office suite, Visio, Jira, Confluence)

Tech Forward Mindset: Ability to leverage AI tools to expedite productivity, build automations and deliver higher output. Communication: Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to build great presentations and present to senior leadership and external advisors

Agility: Proven ability to handle multiple projects with competing priorities and working in a complex, fluid, fast-paced, and demanding work environment. Strong ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal business functions globally, as well as external advisors

The following skills are desirable but not essential: Experience implementing global E-invoicing solutions, PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certification, ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP), data visualization or query skills (SQL, Tableau, PowerBI)
