At Frites du Nord, you’ll get your chance to delight our guests with your skills, right in the vibrant heart of Market 27.
This could be your (side) job:
You’ll prepare dishes for guests at Frites du Nord. You’ll also be responsible for the cash register. Preparing, garnishing, and serving dishes. Restocking supplies. Mise en place. Timely preparation of orders for delivery drivers, and ensuring everything is cleaned and maintained according to HACCP guidelines.
In consultation with the manager, you’ll have the freedom to choose when and how much you want to work—within the restaurant’s opening hours and according to a pre-planned schedule. (Ad-hoc shifts are possible.)
Experience in hospitality, especially in fast food, is a plus. What matters most is your drive for quality and customer-focused service. You’ll be part of a new hospitality concept at a unique location.
Here’s what you get: A salary according to the hospitality collective labor agreement (CAO):
- Age 16: €6.62
- Age 17: €8.09
- Age 18: €9.56
- Age 19: €11.03
- Age 20: €12.50
- Age 21 and above: €14.71
- (Amounts exclude holiday pay)

This is you:
- You have some experience in hospitality.
- You have an MBO-level education or higher.
- Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Frites du Nord is located in the Market 27 Foodstation at the final stop of the metro, inside Metrostation Noord, right next to Busstation Noord. During your shift, you’ll be in the heart of the day’s energy: helping tourists on their journey, serving brunch to not so early birds, and chatting with regulars. Every shift brings new faces, new stories, and fresh energy.
