Responsibilities
E2E Productivity (productivity pipeline)
· Influence portfolio strategy through COGS insights, benchmarking, and clear recommendations on where the biggest value opportunities exist
· Provide financial expertise and informed point of view on productivity pipeline choices, using scenario analysis to guide decision making across project options and trade-offs
· Lead analyses for various project scenarios leading up to, and throughout productivity pipeline.
· Review, challenge and validate business cases in partnership with cross-functional teams for productivity projects, confirm benefits landing expectations (and document assumptions).
· Lead pipeline financial governance, ensure accurate and timely reporting throughout the reporting cycles.
· Provide updates for strategic plan and annual operating plan (AOP) by validating sizing and multi-year phasing for major initiatives of the productivity pipeline, support scenario/sensitivity analysis (timing shifts, probability weighting, key assumptions), ensure initiatives are “finance-ready” with clear value drivers and traceability.
· Provide financial judgment to ensure alignment between AOP or strategic plan targets and initiative-level plans, identifying gaps, overlaps, and double counting risks across teams
· Bring a finance perspective into reviews of actuals and forecast with Commercial Business Units, turning performance updates into actionable insights for decision making
Productivity reporting
· Own pipeline financial governance: standard definitions, benefit taxonomy, stage gates and approval workflow.
· Ensure each initiative includes required finance fields: baseline, benefit type (P&L vs cash), phasing, probability, one-time vs recurring, owners, and audit trail/backup.
· Support the monthly productivity forecast process in partnership with the productivity/portfolio owner and initiative leads
o phasing, delivery outlook, and confidence levels,
o capture and quantify risks & opportunities and required actions/owners,
o support with financial data for monthly leadership-ready pack/dashboard,
o pipeline coverage and gaps, slippage impacts, and mitigation actions,
o support reporting to cross-functional stakeholders on total category performance from Productivity projects and pipeline.
· Support ad hoc analysis within the procurement finance area of responsibilities.
· Lead and support automation initiatives when it comes to productivity reporting, data gathering, dashboard creation and visualization.
Cross-functional partnerships
· Proactively partner with Central Finance (Procurement finance, Manufacturing finance, Logistics finance, FP&A), Growth Office/PMO, Procurement to ensure consistent reporting and decision support.
· Request additional information for productivity pipeline building and business cases validations.
· Business Partnering with other functions to support development of new reports, dashboards and projects, participate in cross functional projects.
Dotted-Line Analyst Oversight
· Provide day-to-day direction to the dotted-line analyst supporting productivity pipeline reporting.
· Assign deliverables, review outputs, and enforce standards.
· Coach on methodology, stakeholder management, and monthly cadence execution.
Qualifications
Hard Skills
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.
· Experience in mid-level roles in finance (3 years minimum, procurement and procurement finance would be an advantage), experience in project management is an advantage.
· Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, financial planning software, and ERP systems, Power queries. Power BI and programming languages is an advantage.
· Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into simple and actionable insights and recommendations.
· Excellent communication skills to effectively convey financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
· Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
