IMS (Europe) B.V. is continuing to grow, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Warehouse Operative to join our brand-new distribution centre in Venhorst, North Brabant.
This is an exciting opportunity for an established warehouse professional who enjoys taking responsibility, leading by example, and supporting the efficient day-to-day running of warehouse operations. Working within a fast-paced logistics environment, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, safety, and customer service while supporting the wider warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Warehouse Operative, you will:
- Lead by example in the execution of daily warehouse operations.
- Accurately pick, check, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Coordinate and support packing, labelling, and shipment preparation activities.
- Assist with the receipt, inspection, and unloading of inbound deliveries.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and effective stock control processes.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or operational issues.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including reach trucks where authorised.
- Support the organisation and optimisation of warehouse layouts and storage locations.
- Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies and warehouse operating procedures.
- Monitor housekeeping standards and maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job support to new and existing warehouse team members.
- Support warehouse administration, goods-in processes, stock movements, and inventory management activities.
- Work closely with supervisors and management to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution centre environment.
- Previous experience in a senior warehouse operative, warehouse coordinator, or team lead capacity.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, stock control, and inventory management.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Good working knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to support and guide colleagues.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Reach truck certification and experience would be highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- A proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
