• Minimum 2+ years of experience in sensory and/or sensometrics, preferably within the (dairy) food industry.
• You have strong sensometric and statistical analysis skills, including solid working knowledge of R.
• Skilled in translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• You act with speed and decisiveness and take ownership to deliver high‑quality results.

Employment benefits:
Salary between €3,900 and €5,250 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role.
A work week of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme.
Hybrid working with flexible working hours, a train card and/or €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way).
200 hours of annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to 40 hours.

Vacancy description:
As a Development Specialist (Sensory & Sensometrics), you will play a central role in our innovation process. You will collaborate closely with R&D teams to ensure our products deliver outstanding sensory performance, using advanced sensory science and multivariate data analytics to guide development and renovation.
Conduct Advanced Sensory Research:
Design and execute sensory studies. Analyze (complex) datasets with statistical methods to guide product development and optimization.
Integrate Multisource Data
Combine sensory results with physical-, chemical-, analytical-, recipe-, and where relevant consumer data to build a holistic understanding of product performance. Work closely with the Sensory & Panel Team to ensure high‑quality data generation.
Strengthen Product Benchmarking:
Apply advanced analytics to elevate our taste and performance benchmarking. Identify sensory drivers, map product signatures, and ensure our products consistently meet or exceed internal and external standards.
