We are looking for a Sales Administrative and Logistics Coordinator based in Rotterdam, on a permanent full-time contract.
The Sales Administrative and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing daily administrative support to the Sales team, following the sales strategy initiated by the Senior Commercial Director, to achieve objectives of annual plan approved at Corporate and Regional levels (volumes / categories / new customers) and reach target of profitability in all segments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
· Act as the first point of contact for customer queries related to orders and deliveries.
· Provide daily administrative support to the Sales team for fresh products:
o Create, process, and follow up on customer orders in the ERP system.
o Coordinate end‑to‑end logistics flows for fresh products (import, storage, distribution).
o Monitor inbound shipments to ensure timely availability of goods.
o Administrative management of inbound and outbound consignments and shipments
· Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, and warehouses.
o Plan, monitor & manage outbound shipments/orders to customers.
o Ensure compliance with temperature control, quality, and food safety standards.
o Monitor inventory levels and manage stock rotation (FIFO / FEFO).
o Anticipate and resolve delivery issues, delays, or disruptions proactively.
· Handle customs documentation and logistics paperwork where applicable.
· Coordinate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Quality teams.
· Track logistics KPIs (OTIF, lead times, losses, transport costs).
· Optimize transport and logistics costs while maintaining service level.
· Support sales reporting (sales volumes, forecasts, customer performance).
Skills required:
· Rotterdam
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales/customer service department.
· Having worked in a fruit & vegetable environment/company in a plus.
· Proficiency in Excel.
· Fluent in written and spoken Dutch & English.
· Organizational maturity and effectiveness.
· Resilient to stress.
· Empowerment and ability to deal with change, strong ability to work with constantly changing priorities
· Excellent Communication skills: able to demonstrate professional competence, both within the company and with external contacts.
· Result-oriented with a positive approach.
