Our cafe (Esthétique cafe) is a boutique pastry & coffee spot in the heart of Amsterdam, known for its elegant French-inspired atmosphere, artisanal pastries, and specialty coffee.
We are looking for a warm, reliable, detail-oriented Barista to join our team.
What you will do
- Prepare high-quality coffee and matcha drinks (espresso-based, alternative brews, signature drinks)
- Create a welcoming, refined guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar
- Follow daily opening and closing routines
- Work closely with our pastry and kitchen team
- Help create a calm, aesthetic atmosphere for our guests
Who you are
- You have barista experience (specialty coffee, latte art is a strong plus)
- You care about quality, speed, and hospitality in equal measure
- You are positive, polite, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- You are a team player and communicate clearly
- You speak English (Dutch is a plus but not required)
- You are available at least 4 days per week, including two days in the weekend, total near 32-38 hours per week
