A day in the life
Join the Cash & Intercompany Accounting team in an Accountant role through the end of August 2027, supporting the newly integrated Cash and Intercompany team as it strengthens and redesigns core accounting processes. The role owns high-volume cash and intercompany accounting activities, with a focus on accurate reconciliations, timely close, strong controls, and efficient transaction processing. This role partners closely with Treasury, Tax, Legal, Controllers, Accounting Management, and internal and external auditors across 1,200+ business units and six ownership structures. As the team supports new funds, ventures, evolving business requirements, and the implementation of a new Treasury Management System, this role will also help improve processes through automation, standardization, and better use of technology.
Key responsibilities include:

Own daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring timely completion, investigating complex reconciling items, and driving issues through to resolution.

Manage Treasury accounting activities, including accurate general ledger classification of bank transactions and enhancement of mapping rules to increase automation and reduce manual intervention.

Oversee intercompany recharges, payments, collections, and key In-House Bank activities, coordinating with Treasury and accounting teams to resolve exceptions, failed payments, and non-standard transactions.

Reconcile Cash and Intercompany general ledger balances, investigate and explain variances, define corrective actions, and ensure accruals and adjustments are recorded accurately.

Own monthly and quarterly close activities for Cash & Intercompany Accounting, ensuring accurate and timely completion in line with the corporate closing calendar.

Act as a key point of contact for audit, statutory, and management requirements, supporting Controllers, Accounting Management, and internal and external auditors across 1,200+ business units and six ownership structures.

Drive process improvement across Cash & Intercompany Accounting by partnering with Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Accounting stakeholders to resolve complex issues, strengthen controls, and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency.
Building blocks for success
Required:
-
3+ years of directly relevant accounting experience.
-
Ability to perform general ledger accounting, cash and intercompany accounting, account reconciliations, and month- or quarter-end close activities.

Advanced spreadsheet skills, including the ability to analyze large data sets and clearly explain complex reconciling items.

Ability to work effectively with ERP systems used in accounting processes.

Fluent spoken and written English.

Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver accurate work in a fast-moving environment.

Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly and become effective within a short onboarding and training period.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills in a collaborative, international environment.
Preferred:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Experience in an international, multi-entity accounting environment.

Experience with Sigma or other tools and technologies used to drive automation and process improvements.

Demonstrated experience improving accounting processes, strengthening controls, or reducing manual work.

Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.
