Job description
As an Application Scientist, you will play a key role in supporting and driving the successful implementation of our innovative laboratory instruments. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and R&D to deliver high-quality application solutions and ensure optimal system performance in real-world environments. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute application projects for our laboratory instruments
- Support customers with method development, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate customer needs into practical solutions
- Provide technical input during product demonstrations and evaluations
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Contribute to documentation, protocols, and application notes
Profile
You feel at home at the interface of biology and technology. You are enthusiastic and take initiative. Next you fit the following profile:
- A Master degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Nutrition Science, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to work on-site in Enschede and occasionally travel for conferences, customer visits, project meetings, etc.
- An energetic, positive, and open-minded attitude
- A proactive team player with strong communication skills
- Interest in new technologies and innovative laboratory solutions
- Ability to manage and execute application-oriented projects
- Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment
