My name is Lisa Romee, founder of UNWIND Jewelry. What once started as a small market stall with waterproof jewelry has grown into a brand with its own boutique in the Nine Streets. Our mission? Creating beautiful jewelry that lasts long and remains affordable for everyone.
We are currently looking for an energetic and reliable Sales & Retail Associate to join our team 3 to 4 days per week starting from mid June.
This is a very allround retail role. You will work at our markets like the Noordermarkt in Amsterdam, work independently in our store in the Nine Streets, and help refill and support other UNWIND locations throughout the Netherlands.
About the role
As a Sales & Retail Associate, you are one of the faces of UNWIND. No day looks the same.
Some days you will be selling jewelry at busy markets like the Noordermarkt, other days you will independently run the store in Amsterdam, and sometimes you will travel to refill stock and support other store locations across the Netherlands.
This role is very hands on and comes with a lot of responsibility. We are looking for someone who is social, practical, energetic, and enjoys staying busy throughout the day.
You genuinely enjoy customer contact, love selling, and are not afraid to approach people. At the same time, you are organized and able to work independently.
Availability
- You are available 2 to 3 days per week
- You are definitely available on Mondays and Tuesdays
- Weekend availability is required
- You are flexible and able to step in during busy periods and holidays
- Availability during the summer period is a must
What you will do
- Work at markets like the Noordermarkt in Amsterdam
- Independently open and close the store in the Nine Streets
- Welcome customers, advise them, and actively sell jewelry
- Make sure the store and displays always look clean and on brand
- Refill products and organize inventory
- Travel to refill and support multiple UNWIND locations across the Netherlands
- Handle payments and daily store operations
- Help create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere everywhere you work
Who we’re looking for
The most important thing is that you get energy from people! We often say that you need to be a full-time yapper to work with us haha.
- You are reliable and flexible, especially during busy periods
- You enjoy switching between market and store work
- You have an open, social personality and love fashion and jewelry
- You work independently and take initiative
- You are comfortable traveling throughout the Netherlands when needed
- You are 18 years or older and live in (or near) Amsterdam
