Met twee mooie locaties op Zeeburgereiland en IJburg bieden wij zorg op hoog niveau met een team van algemeen tandartsen, mondhygiënisten, preventieassistenten én een tandarts voor orthodontie. Wij zijn een hecht, warm team waarin ieders aandeel even belangrijk is.
Wie zoeken wij?
We zoeken gericht naar één van de volgende profielen:
- Gediplomeerd preventieassistent of tandartsassistent, klaar om direct aan de slag te gaan
- Tandartsassistent met minimaal 2 jaar werkervaring, die op korte termijn bijgeschoold kan en wil worden richting preventie
- Hoogopgeleide (zorg)professional uit het buitenland — bijvoorbeeld een tandarts in een BIG-registratietraject, mondhygiënist of vergelijkbaar (para)medisch geschoold persoon — die het vak snel kan oppakken en zich serieus wil ontwikkelen binnen de Nederlandse mondzorg
In alle gevallen geldt: je bent een enthousiaste, leergierige teamplayer die makkelijk samenwerkt en pro-actief is, en je bent beschikbaar voor 3–4 dagen per week.

Prevention Assistant / Dental Assistant

Are you a motivated, internationally trained dental or healthcare professional looking to build your career in the Netherlands? Tandartspraktijk Transparant offers a warm, professional environment where your international background is a true asset.
We operate two modern practices on Zeeburgereiland and IJburg (Amsterdam), with a multidisciplinary team of general dentists, dental hygienists, prevention assistants, and and a dentist for orthodontics. We believe that when everyone contributes their best, quality follows naturally.
Who are we looking for?
We are specifically looking for someone who fits one of the following profiles:
- Qualified prevention assistant or dental assistant, ready to start right away
- Dental assistant with at least 2 years of work experience, who can be quickly trained up towards prevention
- Highly educated (healthcare) professional from abroad — for example a dentist working towards Dutch BIG registration, a dental hygienist, or a comparable (para)medically trained professional — who can pick up the role quickly and is serious about developing within Dutch oral healthcare
In all cases: you’re an enthusiastic, eager-to-learn team player who works well with others and takes initiative, and you’re available 3–4 days per week, starting as soon as possible.

About the BIG registration pathway
The Dutch BIG register (Beroepen in de Individuele Gezondheidszorg) is required to practice as a dentist in the Netherlands. Foreign-trained dentists typically follow a recognition and assessment procedure through the CIBG. Working in our practice as a prevention or dental assistant is an excellent way to immerse yourself in Dutch dental care culture, build language skills, and gain local experience — all while progressing towards your registration.
