As PCB Engineering Manager, you lead the hardware team within our Semitest department and play a key role in the further growth and professionalization of this discipline. You bring structure, monitor quality and progress, and at the same time get the freedom to pioneer, implement improvements and contribute your own vision.
In doing so, you build not only strong technical results, but also the further development of the team and the people within it. You work together with colleagues from different disciplines, customers and suppliers, and you know when to coach, when to make adjustments and when clear decisions need to be made. This is a role for someone who understands technology, keeps an overview and gains energy from developing together, as a team, as a professional and as an organization.
What you will be doing in your role

You lead the hardware team and ensure focus, collaboration and further development;

You coach employees in their growth, conduct performance and development discussions, and help the team move to a higher level;

You are ultimately responsible for the alignment and coordination of hardware activities within projects;

You steer on quality, planning, budget and priorities, and intervene in time when risks or bottlenecks arise;

You work closely together with colleagues in hardware, test application and instrumentation to successfully realize projects;

You are a strong discussion partner for customers and suppliers and know how to connect interests effectively;

You initiate process improvements and help further professionalize the hardware domain;

An attractive salary, depending on your education and experience, between €5,058.00 and €7,226.00 gross per month (job scale: Manager A) based on a 40-hour workweek;

What do we ask of you

A completed Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a comparable field;

Experience with the design and validation of Printed Circuit Boards is a plus;

Demonstrable experience in a managerial or coordinating role within a technical environment;

Strong organizational and communication skills;

You maintain an overview, intervene in time where needed and proactively address colleagues, suppliers or customers regarding agreements and deadlines;

You are able to switch well between different projects and disciplines;

You have an eye for the person behind the professional;

You have a good command of both Dutch and English;

You live in the Netherlands and within a maximum travel time of one hour from our office in Zwolle;

If you are not a Dutch or EU citizen, you already have a valid Dutch work visa.
