Role Overview
A fast-growing neo-bank focused on SME lending, particularly within the real estate sector,
is looking for a (Senior) Credit Analyst to support the growth of its lending portfolio in the
Netherlands.
This role sits at the core of the credit function, working closely with origination, risk, and
senior management to analyse and structure lending opportunities. You will evaluate and
structure senior and subordinated loans, present credit proposals to Credit Committee, and
monitor the ongoing performance of the portfolio. The position offers strong exposure to deal
structuring, real estate-backed financing, and strategic credit decision-making within a fast-
paced fintech banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and structure senior and subordinated lending transactions for SME clients,
with a focus on real estate-backed financing.
- Perform financial modelling, cash flow analysis, and credit risk assessments and
prepare credit papers for Credit Committee.
- Work closely with the Origination team to evaluate new lending opportunities and
support deal execution.
- Monitor an assigned credit portfolio, identifying early warning signals and managing
ongoing credit requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (lawyers, valuators,
advisors) to support efficient transaction execution.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in credit analysis within banking, lending, or financial services.
- Strong financial modelling, credit structuring, and risk assessment skills, ideally with
exposure to real estate lending.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with strong
stakeholder communication skills.
- Fluency in Dutch and English; additional European languages are a plus.
