Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, skilled in making coffee and latte art. Willing to handle additional tasks such as food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, including espresso-based drinks (latte, cappuccino, etc.).
- Create fresh smoothies using a variety of frozen fruits and ingredients.
- Make sandwiches following recipes and ensuring quality and consistency.
- Greet customers with a smile, take orders, and ensure a friendly and professional experience.
- Handle opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and securing the café.
- Clean and maintain the café, including tables, counters, floors, and kitchen areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, contributing to smooth daily operations.
- Making accurate orders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience as a barista or in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- A friendly, positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (training can be provided if needed).
