Cook / Kitchen Staff – Café & Bar Opening May 2026 | Amsterdam
Full-time / Part-time (salary prorated based on hours)
Salary: €2,500 gross per month including 8% holiday allowance
About the Role
We are opening a new café and cocktail bar in Amsterdam in May 2026 and are looking for a reliable and hands-on Cook / Kitchen Staff member to support our kitchen operations.
The role focuses on preparing simple, high-quality bar food and ensuring smooth kitchen service during evening hours
Responsibilities
- Prepare simple dishes such as burgers, sandwiches, and bar snacks
- Heat and plate pre-prepared or semi-prepared products
- Ensure consistent presentation and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Follow basic food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Support stock handling and basic prep work
- Work efficiently during busy service hours
Requirements
- Basic kitchen experience (fast food, café, or similar is sufficient)
- Ability to work clean, organized, and fast
- Available for evening and weekend shifts
- Positive attitude and team player
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands
