Binnen het conciërgeteam (bestaande uit een hoofdconciërge en 4 conciërges) heerst een informele, no-nonsense sfeer waar collegialiteit en humor centraal staan. De onderlinge voertaal is Nederlands, terwijl de communicatie binnen de school hoofdzakelijk in het Engels verloopt.
Als Conciërge ben je het aanspreekpunt voor het beheer, de toegankelijkheid en de veiligheid van onze gebouwen. Naast de reguliere taken word je dit jaar onderdeel van een dynamische periode: we realiseren namelijk een grote aanbouw met 22 lokalen en diverse interne verbouwingen. Dit vraagt om flexibiliteit en organisatorisch inzicht.
- Logistieke ondersteuning rondom evenementen en de begeleiding van leveranciers.
- Openen, sluiten en routinematige controlerondes van de gebouwen.
- Zorgvuldig uitvoeren van routinematige controletaken
- Actieve deelname aan het first responder team (BHV) bij calamiteiten.
- Communiceren met externe medewerkers om hun werk op het schoolterrein te ondersteunen
- Samenwerken met zowel leerlingen als personeel van de basisschool en de middelbare school

We zoeken een enthousiaste teamspeler met een ‘nieuwe blik’ — iemand die proactief handelt en rust uitstraalt in een levendige omgeving.
- Je hebt minimaal MBO-werk- en denkniveau.
- Je beschikt over een goede beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als de Engelse taal.
- Je bent comfortabel met computervaardigheden.
- Je bent klantgericht, flexibel en bereid om soms buiten de standaard werktijden bij te springen.
- Ervaring in een internationale en/of onderwijsomgeving is een pré.
- Ervaring als conciërge is niet vereist; passie voor uitstekende service en gastvrijheid wel.
- Technische kennis of een VCA-certificaat (Veiligheid, Gezondheid en Milieu Checklist Aannemers) is een pré.
- Je hebt de intentie en motivatie om fulltime (1.0 FTE / 40 uur per week) te werken.
- Je bent in het bezit van een geldige werkvergunning voor Nederland.
- Uitstekende secundaire voorwaarden: 8% vakantietoeslag, een eindejaarsuitkering van 8,33%, reiskostenvergoeding en een goed pensioen via ABP.

You will join our close-knit concierge team (comprising a Head Concierge and 4 Concierges), which thrives in an informal, no-nonsense atmosphere where collaboration and humour are central. While Dutch is the spoken language within the team , day-to-day communication across the wider school is primarily conducted in English.
As a Concierge, you will be the go-to point of contact for the management, accessibility, and safety of our campus buildings. Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities , you will play an active role in a highly dynamic period for the school: over the coming year, we are launching a major expansion project featuring 22 new classrooms and various internal renovations. This unique environment calls for flexibility and strong organisational insight.
- Handling logistics around events and guiding/supporting external suppliers.
- Opening, closing, and conducting routine security and control rounds of the buildings.
- Carefully carrying out routine inspection and control duties.
- Active participation in the first responder team (BHV) during emergencies.
- Communicating with external staff to support their work on the school grounds.
- Working closely with both students and staff from the primary school and the secondary school.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who brings a 'fresh perspective' - someone who spots what needs to be done and stays cool when things get busy.
- This role can be filled on a part-time or full-time basis, but we have a strong preference for someone who wants to dive in full-time (40 hours per week). You are also happy to jump in outside standard working hours when needed.
- You have at least an MBO level of working and thinking. You don’t need prior experience as a concierge; a real passion for great service and hospitality is what matters most to us!
- You possess a good command of both the Dutch and English languages.
- You are comfortable using a computer for everyday tasks.
- It’s a big bonus if you already have experience in an international or school environment. Having some technical know-how or a VCA certificate is also a great plus.
- You are naturally friendly and customer-oriented, and you already hold a valid right to work in the Netherlands.
