For a fast-scaling deep-tech company we’re looking for a People Partner! As the sole People Partner of a highly international team (25+ nationalities) you will report directly to the VP of People and play a key role in bringing their People & Culture agenda to life - across both the office and labs. With ambitious plans to double in size in the coming year, the stakes are high and the impact of this role is real.
You will take ownership of the projects needed to scale culture and retain talent during an exciting phase of hyper growth. You bring empathy, structure, and calm execution to a fast-moving environment - and you know how to make things happen.
You will be part of a collaborative People team that includes the VP of People, an interim HR Business Partner, two Recruiters, and a Junior People Coordinator.
What you’ll do:
✨ Support managers on key topics such as performance management, onboarding, feedback skills, sickness absence management, and gender inclusion. And you have the opportunity to improve the benefits package.
✨ Own the people-manager community, fostering peer learning and building collective capability.
✨ Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen and scale the culture, then design and deliver initiatives that bring those opportunities to life.
✨ Prepare the organization for upcoming labour law regulation changes, such as EU Pay Transparency.
✨ Leverage Personio's analytical capability to generate and review People KPIs.
✨ Provide administrative back-up for the People & Culture coordinator when needed, including contract preparation and Personio data management.
✨ Lead recurring compensation processes such as bonus cycles and incentive administration where applicable.
What you’ll bring:
✅ Solid experience of HR in a scale up environment.
✅ Working knowledge of Dutch labour law and comfort in advising managers (±10) in a compliant manner.
✅ Eagerness to learn and get things done with quality and speed, in a very diverse and dynamic environment.
✅ Strong team player, great organizational skills and high attention to detail.
✅ Confident working with HR systems and improving processes.
✅ You are naturally approachable, positive, friendly and able to build strong working relationships across the wider company, not just process driven, but people driven.
✅ Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch is a plus.
