As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical architecture, power distribution, mechanical integration, safety implementation, and validation of complex integrated systems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and see your designs come to life on the production floor. Your responsibilities are:
Design complete power distribution systems, including all cabling and interconnections for high-tech machines and integrated systems.
Create system-level schematics covering actuators, drives, sensors, power supplies, safety components, and control hardware.
Develop electrical documentation using Zuken E3
Define system architecture, hardware placement, and routing strategies.
Translate schematic designs into 3D layouts and cable routing using Siemens NX.
Design Power Distribution Units (PDUs), electrical cabinets, housings, enclosures, and supporting mechanical structures.
Implement machine safety concepts in accordance with applicable standards and CE requirements.
Develop and validate safety functions using B&R Safety PLCs (experience is a plus but can be learned on the job).
Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and improve the systems you have designed.
Take full ownership of your subsystem from initial concept through production release and continuous improvement.
