Job Summary:
We are seeking an analytical and detail-focused Sports Data Analyst to turn sporting data into clear, actionable insights. You will support performance reporting, identify trends and help teams make informed decisions.
What You’ll Do:
- Collect, clean and analyse sports performance data
- Track player, team and competition metrics
- Identify patterns, trends and performance opportunities
- Create dashboards, visualisations and regular reports
- Ensure data remains accurate, consistent and secure
- Present analytical findings to relevant teams
- Support match, competitor and performance analysis
- Improve data collection and reporting processes
Requirements:
- Experience in data analysis, reporting or research
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence using Excel or similar analytical tools
- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Tableau or Python is helpful
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Interest in sport, statistics or performance analysis
- Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential
- Applicants with transferable analytical experience are welcome
