your challenge
As a Product Engineer at Aalberts advanced mechatronics, located in Nijmegen, you are responsible for the technical integrity and industrialization of our high-tech products. You act as the primary technical point of contact for the production floor, ensuring a seamless transition from customer drawings to a flawless manufacturing process. You work closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
You are the hands-on technical expert who ensures our production line never stops. You translate complex requirements into workable solutions on the shop floor.
What you will concretely do:
New Product Introduction (NPI): Translate customer designs into clear work packages, set up ERP systems, and lead the first "builds" within the cleanroom.
Production Support: Resolve complex technical issues (Engineering tickets) in real-time to maintain production flow and operational excellence.
Quality & Risk Management: Execute risk analyses (PFMEA), define Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) parameters, and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions.
Stakeholder Management: Align daily with planning, purchasing, and quality departments to ensure technical requirements meet delivery performance.
your profile
We are looking for an analytical professional who thrives on "the Aalberts way"—being an entrepreneur and taking ownership of their work:
Background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a similar technical field.
A hands-on mindset and a goal-oriented personality.
Quality-conscious and comfortable in a dynamic, evolving environment.
You are fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
Living in the Nijmegen region.
