You’ll work on the CDD team that will perform Customer Due Diligence for bfs. The team reports to the Manager of CDD Operations and consists of junior, mid-level, and senior CDD analysts. These analysts know the internal processes well, but the CDD discipline is new to bol. You have high-level expertise in this area. Together with the CDD analysts, you form a partnership that professionalizes the CDD domain and makes “first time right” the standard.
You assess and evaluate the quality of case files with a dual focus on integrity and risk management. You make quality visible by identifying trends and areas for improvement, translating them into actionable feedback, reports, and recommendations.
For critical decisions and complex cases, you implement the four-eyes principle: you review alongside the analyst, ensure that everything has been properly researched, and verify that the documentation is audit-proof.
You coach and guide the team in understanding and applying CDD principles. You do this through knowledge sessions, case studies, and discussing relatable examples. You embed improvements in work instructions and policies. You build bridges with stakeholders, including Compliance, Legal, Fraud, Risk, and product teams, to drive process improvements. And you contribute to the implementation of a new system that puts quality standards front and center. Your key responsibilities:
