Team Member – Italian Food Stand
University of Amsterdam – Parravano's
Parravano's, an authentic Italian food stand located at the University of Amsterdam, is looking for a full-time team member (approximately 30 hours per week) to join our team.
About us
We serve high-quality Italian vegetarian food, like Roman-style pizza by the slice, fresh pasta and traditional fried Italian snacks.
Your responsibilities
- Assemble and bake Roman-style tray pizzas using an electric oven.
- Prepare and fry Italian snacks.
- Plate and serve fresh main dishes.
- Welcome customers and answer questions about our menu.
- Keep the workstation clean and organised.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) are followed at all times.
Who we're looking for
- Some previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment.
- Friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
- Reliable, organised and attentive to cleanliness.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good command of English.
- Punctuality
What we offer
- Approximately 30 hours per week.
- Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays always off.
- Latest finishing time: 7:00 PM.
